Two new Tesla Model 3 models for China

Tesla has confirmed it will build the Tesla Model 3 Long Range RWD and Performance models in China.

Previously only the Model 3 Standard Range Plus was built at the Shanghai facility. 

At this stage the Tesla’s made in China will only be sold to domestic buyers. With local subsidies and no shipping, the cost of producing the cars for China will be much less than in the USA.
