The BMW 4 Series cabriolet has emerged from its camouflage and yes it has “that” grille.

The profile looks striking though, with headlights and tail lights mirroring that of the upcoming 4 Series coupe design.

It also looks as if BMW has ditched the current car’s hard top with a soft top instead.

The 4 Series will get the same engines as the coupe, meaning most likely a 420i, 430i and M440i in petrol form and, at least in Europe, a 420d and 430d.  A desirable M4 cabriolet should also appear with up to 383kW.

Both the coupe and cabriolet are being readied for a 2021 release.
