Expect to see Land Rover Discovery facelift soon
With the new Defender on the warpath thanks to tremendous local sales in New Zealand and global success, Land Rover will be looking to get its face-lifted Land Rover Discovery on the market soon.
It’s likely the desirable Defender will steal customers from its bigger Discovery brother, so this war is erupting amongst siblings.
To counter, the Discovery is expected to feature a new interior with a much larger centre touchscreen and likely revised electronic instrument cluster.
It’s unclear what exterior changes are in store but we can expect revisions to the lights, wheels and bumpers.
Engines will likely follow the latest in the Land Rover range, which is certainly destined to include the 3.0 litre six cylinder mild hybrid putting out 295kW of power. It should also include a plug in hybrid.
The third generation Disco was launched in 2017.
