Mitsubishi teases with new image of Outlander

Mitsubishi Motors has teased the new Outlander SUV ahead of leaked images on the internet.

The design language of the Mitsubishi Outlander follows the “I-Fu-Do-Do” philosophy, a Japanese term, meaning “authentic and majestic” design features.

The styling appears an evolution of the current Outlander’s unusual styling. This time the chrome accents remain but have grown longer, the headlights that are split by chrome and striking daytime running lights. The hood has a sloping kink in it and the side profile has a noticeable dividing line slicing from the door handles to the backlights.

Although we await full engine details, we know a hybrid will be offered as the hybrid model has been extremely popular in the current shape.

The Outlander scales up a size to be Nissan X-Trail-size. As a result, we can expect prices to rise. The interior hasn’t been snapped yet but we expect it to be much fresher than the current version.

The Outlander is due for official release in February 2021.
