MG Motor NZ has announced another price drop on its EV range, with savings between $1000 to $5000 on certain models.

The MG4 Excite 51 is available from $38,990 plus on-road costs for October only, a discount of $4000, while most of the MG range has a price cut.

Throughout this month all ZS EV, HS PHEV, MG4 and XPOWER come with a bonus offer of free Road User Charges for the first 50,000km.

This significant saving on running costs simplifies the transition to electric vehicles, providing long-term value and reducing the total cost of ownership for new buyers, says MG Motor NZ.

MG Motor New Zealand Chief Operating Officer, Harrie Yan, highlighted the importance of this initiative.

"At MG, we are dedicated to bringing more value to electric vehicle ownership.  This latest offer is designed to make EVs more accessible to New Zealanders, emphasising our commitment to innovation and sustainability,” he said.

Other models with discounts include the ZST line-up with $1000 off most of the variations, all of the MG4 range gets hefty discounts with the X-Power getting a $5000 reduction to $59,99 while the HS PHEV get $4000 off the price tags.
