Cadillac has revealed the New Zealand pricing and vehicle specifications for the new, fully-electric MY25 Lyriq SUV, with the Luxury variant available from $117,000 and the Sport variant available from $119,000.

The luxury American brand is taking orders now, and both the Luxury and Sport have an impressive 388kW of power delivered via an all-wheel drive electric powertrain featuring a 102kWh battery capable of 530km between charges.

“Lyriq sets the standard for the future of Cadillac in the region, and we are thrilled to be officially taking customer orders this month,” said Jess Bala, Managing Director GM Australia and New Zealand.

The luxury electric SUV has a driver-focussed cabin.

The Lyriq is manufactured in right-hand drive at the Spring Hill Manufacturing Plant in Tennessee, USA.

Key differences between the two models are primarily found in aesthetic signatures. Luxury is crafted for a sophisticated journey and Sport is designed for expressive power and presence.

The Cadillac Lyriq has an impressive appearance.

At the heart of the Cadillac Lyriq is GM’s Ultium battery - an innovative EV propulsion architecture with flexible, modular construction that spans Cadillac’s entire global EV portfolio, delivering outstanding power, range, and performance.

Acceleration is dynamic, with near-instant torque delivering a thrilling driving experience and the distribution of battery weight across the floor of the vehicle provides sure-footed and comfortable handling.

I recently checked out the Lyriq at the Cadillac Beverly Hills dealership.
