Jaguar UK has supply chain problems

The production of Jaguar’s XE and XF sedans has been stalled at its Castle Bromwich plant in the UK owing to supply chain complexities.

This issue has also plagued Honda recently, so Jaguar is not alone.

The Castle Bromwich plant remains in action producing F-Types and production of the XE/XF models should resume after Christmas.

The upcoming XJ, which will be fully electrified, will also be built at the Castle Bromwich plant, however rumours have it that the continuation of the XJ is under debate.

Jaguar Land Rover is said to be taking the scalpel to up to six models, in a widespread cost overhaul, but details are not yet confirmed if this will eventuate.
