Check out Nissan’s mobile office idea

Working from home is something I’ve advocated since I set up ChapmanCG as a global virtual company in 2008.

But due to the Covid pandemic, a decent chunk of the world working remotely, and the creativity on how to house workers in their homes is extending to cars.

Nissan has come up with its own idea of a mobile office, ahead of the 2021 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Meet the NV350 Office Pod concept. It’s probably better parked in the driveway than the garage, as the desk and office chair slide out to create more room while there is also a sun deck on the roof for those coffee breaks.

The inside surfaces are “office-like” in being durable .. and white! There is room for coffee and tea making and storage compartments.  The outside is covered in a vinyl wrap for durability.

The only thing missing is colleagues!
