Audi announces E-Tron S
For electric petrol heads, or perhaps thats an oxymoron, you now have another rapid form of transport to choose from.
Audi has just released the E-Tron S in both SUV configuration and the new Sportback, in Europe.
If the standard E-Tron didn't have enough power at around 300kW, then the 372kW E-Tron S should fix the problem. The 'S' uses an extra motor at the rear, as opposed to the standard E-Tron which has both front and rear motors.
Taking the 0-100km/h sprint to just 4.5 seconds, the E-Tron S could land in New Zealand around $25,000 more than the standard E-Tron, which starts from $148,500.
The driving range is 363km, around 6km longer than the standard guise.
