2022 Porsche Macan To Be Electric

Further pictures have emerged out of Scandinavia of the next Porsche Macan.

The Macan will be fully electric but will also have a petrol version for markets like Russia and the US, with the fully electric version being more geared for China and Europe.

The Macan will use the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) infrastructure being developed the VW/Audi group which will see the Macan riding on a different electric platform to the low riding Taycan.

By 2025, CEO Oliver Blume, expects half of Porsche's sales to be electric.

When Porsche CEO Oliver Blume says by 2025 half of Porsche production will be electric I suddenly take the idea of the electric Maycan seriously. This should really give the Audi Efron a run for its money.
