UK’s Top Gear has featured a video of the Dyson EV car that never made it to production, as it pulled last minute in October 2019.

In a futuristic move, the EV car was to have been manufactured in Singapore.

The EV would have had an incredible 965km range with an 800kg 150 kWh battery. Dyson was also working on a lighter solid state battery which would have also charged faster.

According to Top Gear, the car was the size of a long wheelbase Range Rover and had three rows of seats.

After a £500 million spend, the project was pulled and Dyson chose to focus on its existing electrical appliances business.
