The launch of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo is only a few months away and former F1 driver and Porsche ambassador, Mark Webber, has just driven it.

The “wagon” version of the electric Porsche gets more ground clearance than the sedan and is being marketed as a more practical version than the standard Taycan.

The Cross Turismo will be sold in the same versions as the sedan, meaning rear-wheel drive “base”, 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S.

Webber commented on Instagram about his experience with the Taycan Cross Turismo saying, “phenomenal first drive for me with this beauty. Drives like a Porsche, feels like a Porsche, smells like a Porsche”.

Mark Webber took the Taycan Cross Turismo for a test drive (above) saying it was a proper sports car.

“It’s a proper sports car with even more space and ground clearance now. Expect the World Premiere of the all-new Taycan Cross Turismo to take place in less than eight weeks. In dealerships as early as this [European] summer. I can’t wait. It’s the perfect car for the Australian outback and the German Autobahn.”

The Taycan has been a hit for Porsche and is now its biggest seller, apart from the Macan, and the wagon will only intensify this success.
