The new Caddy’s are engineered on Volkswagen’s MQB platform – as utilised by the all-new Golf 8 – also allows for more advanced Safety and Driver Assistance Systems now available in each vehicle.
Features of the MQB platform include an electro-mechanical parking brake, Auto Hold, shift-by-wire gearbox and a newer suspension design, that make the Caddy Cargo and Caddy Life more digitalised, intuitive, and comfortable to drive than ever before.
The new Caddy delivers advanced driver assistance and safety tech. Such as the Adaptive Cruise Control, that monitors the distance between you and the car in front, automatically braking or accelerating to maintain that distance. The suite also includes Front Assist with City Emergency Braking and Lane Assist as standard.
The Caddy Life’s interior – larger than previous iterations - masks its commercial vehicle origins even further. One of the big features is its modular seven-seating configuration, dual sliding doors and advanced connectivity – all designed with the family in mind, making it perfect for school runs, day trips etc.
The digital cockpit includes multiple navigation functions and customisable display options. While the game-changing infotainment system offers built-in Bluetooth and Wireless App-Connect to help everyone’s journey that little bit more.
