If you bought a new Audi, VW or Porsche, and your warranty is coming to an end, you are in luck. VW Group, along with some other car brands, has decided to extend warranties internationally due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The proviso is that your car must have been built in Europe, Brazil, Mexico or India and your warranty is due to expire between 1 March and 31 May, 2020.

“We are pleased to be able to offer our customers an immediate, unbureaucratic solution with this three-month warranty prolongation,” said Jürgen Stackmann, VW’s Member of the Board of Management, responsible for Sales.

Extension will be up to three months after the expiration of the original warranty, up to a maximum of August 31, 2020.
