Not satisfied with the Volkswagen Golf GTI? Nor the Golf R? How about the Golf R Plus?
The Golf R Plus is said to be a rival to the 300kW Mercedes-AMG A45 although don’t expect to see it until at least 2023.
The chassis would be modified to run a stiffer suspension and wheel arches would be enlarged.
Critically it would need to not better its sister, the glorious RS3, the hero Audi A3 model.
