If you love supercars (who doesn’t) and want to help a great cause then check out this fundraising event in Auckland next month; the Starship Supercar Show.

Giltrap Group has joined forces with some of New Zealand’s most passionate car owners to bring together the most impressive collection of Supercars ever seen in this country; for one unforgettable day on Sunday, April 11 in the 119GNR building in Grey Lynn, Auckland.

Aisha Daji Punga, Starship Foundation Chief Executive, says: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Giltrap  Group for this event which is bound to bring much joy to car enthusiasts alike while raising vital funds to bring  brighter futures to the children of New Zealand.”

Making its New Zealand debut is the McLaren Speedtail; the 1000 horsepower-hybrid with a top speed of 403km/h. It will join two other ‘Hypercars’ from the company started by New Zealand motorsport legend Bruce McLaren: the Senna and P1.

We love cars, and we have a long history supporting Starship. I am genuinely  excited not only to be part of this event but as a car fan; I can’t wait to see some of these cars in the metal.”

Included in the Pit Lane is the ex Michael Schumacher Benetton F1 car, Mad Mike Whiddett’s Lamborghini Huracan Drift, and The Heart of  Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3, which won the New Zealand Endurance Championship.

To allow people space to best enjoy the cars, numbers will be strictly limited, with six 90-minute sessions held across on April 11 at 119 Great North Road, Grey Lynn with tickets $25 for adults, $10 for children 13 and under & $20 for Gold Card holders.
