Nothing gets us more excited at AutoMuse than news of a royal vehicle up for sale, and the latest offering at auction is for Will and Kate fans.

Bonhams auction house is offering a 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE used by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge via Land Rover's VIP Department.

The car has been photographed with Prince William and Kate on a visit to Perthshire in 2013, and may have been purchased with the family in mind as Prince George was born that year.

The Range Rover is expected to sell for £30,000-40,000 (NZ$58,000-$77,000) at the auction on May 22.

The L405 Range Rover has been a popular vehicle with the Royal Family and is a model still used by the family today. Usually, Land Rovers and Range Rovers used by the Royal Household have the vehicle registration numbers changed once out of service, making it difficult to confirm their famous history.

The SE Vogue model, powered by a 4.4-litre V8 diesel engine, was given to the royal couple for their own personal use.

Prince George (and maybe Princess Charlotte) have sat in the back seats.

The car has a low mileage and comes fully equipped with 20" alloy wheels, auto high beam assist, advanced park assist, heated front & rear seats, a panoramic glass roof, side steps, electric front seats, Meridian sound system, front & rear parking sensors (with reversing camera), remote garage door opener, remote park heat facility, a drinks fridge, electric tow bar, and Land Rover premium carpet and rubber floormats (both of which are in excellent condition).

The vendor purchased the car in July 2020 and Bonhams says the car is in excellent condition and drives very well, presenting itself as a rare opportunity to acquire a vehicle with Royal roots.
