Europe’s number one selling EV in 2020, the new Renault Zoe, will arrive in New Zealand from mid-year, however those keen to secure a unit from the first shipment can pre-order online now.

The New Renault Zoe offers 100% electric driving pleasure and a new dimension thanks to a range of up to 395 km, a more efficient 100 kW engine, its loading versatility and a high level of equipment starting at the entry-level.

“The improvements made to the Zoe across the board make the new generation Zoe a popular small electric car choice,” says Sam Waller, Renault New Zealand General Manager.

The new 52 kWh battery that equips the New Zoe extends its range to 395 kilometres in the WLTP cycle, an increase of 25%, without changing the size of the battery. By adopting rapid DC charging up to 50 kW, the New Zoe suits New Zealand’s DC public charging network.

The New Zoe recovers up to 150 kilometres of range in 30 minutes.

The all-new interior has a redesigned dashboard and new technology.

“With the ability to travel up to 395 kilometres and DC charging capability, range anxiety is a thing of the past,” adds Waller.

With the introduction of the R135, a 100 kW engine, the New Zoe offers even more acceleration control and responsiveness. Driving pleasure and comfort are enhanced, especially on the motorway, with acceleration from 80 to 120 km/h, 2.2 seconds faster than the previous generation.

The New Zoe also offers a new driving mode that simplifies city traffic. Called “B mode”, it provides intensified decelerations allowing reduced use of the brake pedal.

An interior revolution with a redesigned dashboard, refined finishings, new technology, more storage and available with recycled materials that combine comfort and respect for the environment.
