If there is one car I am very excited about seeing released it’s the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, and it’s getting closer as disguised models have been back in Nurburgring for testing.

Due in 2021, and to complement the Porsche Taycan sedan, the Cross Turismo looks to gain the extra ground clearance to give the car an off road ability and to include all wheel drive capability. It won’t, however, have the ground clearance of a full blown Porsche SUV.

Styling hints are also coming through clearer and it looks like there could be extended plastic wheel arches, roof rails, an elongated roof design and a raked tailgate.

Engines will mirror the Taycan which should mean the Cross Turismo Turbo S will be one very special ski touring or camping vehicle.

 Counting my sleep already.
