Mercedes-Benz has released teaser pictures of its luxury sedan that is due to be launched next year, and it will feature the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system.

The MBUX system can be linked to a smartphone and will use QR code scanning to allow up to seven different profiles to be set.

It will employ high tech features including augmented reality, where it will project directional arrows on the road ahead so the driver doesn’t need to take their eyes off the road.

Fingerprint, voice and face recognition will also provide added security for infotainment settings, including where digital payment settings are used.

The interior will have 27 less buttons and switches with more being controlled through touchscreens, which will be controlled by OLED technology and haptic touch feedback.

The S-Class will be a car best enjoyed from the rear seats, and the passenger section will set new standards for comfort.
