Lamborghini is hard at work on the facelift version of the Urus super sports SUV with prototypes spotted during cold-weather testing.

Car Magazine has said the next iteration will include a hybrid-electric version that will use a Porsche engine. It is said the combination of power outputs from petrol and electric will top 600kWh.

The electric version will weigh more than 250kg than the standard V8 version. There is also said to be a Urus RS version in the wings that will bring an 8 to 10kW uptick over the regular V8.

In its same article Car Magazine said that the next generation is going to be pushed back to 2028. This will have the Urus in an 11-year model cycle, which is long by current standards of seven to eight years.

This means we can expect during the time a number of facelifts to further refine what is still a remarkable product.

I’m a fan of the Urus, and it will be interesting to this luxury SUV with the camouflage off.
