For the fifth year in a row, MG New Zealand and its dealer network will participate in a generous initiative to raise money for New Zealand Red Cross, to a value of $10,000.

New Zealand Red Cross General Manager Engagement & Enterprise, Shane Chisholm, said “This generosity will help us support thousands of people - whether it's delivering warm meals to those who can't cook for themselves, helping former refugees settle in their new homes, or helping people affected by emergencies and disasters - we'll be there, wherever we are needed next.”

Every test drive taken during December 11-31 will see MG New Zealand donate $10 to the organisation.

“At MG, we’re proud to support New Zealand Red Cross and recognise the outstanding work the organisation does for so many in our community,” said MG Motor New Zealand Country Manager, Arek Zywot.

“I would encourage as many people as possible to visit your nearest MG dealer and use the ‘Test Drive for a Difference’ as an added incentive to help contribute to the wellbeing of Kiwis affected by disasters, emergencies, conflict and isolation.

“This is one small way MG New Zealand can contribute some extra support to an organisation which offers those in need support every day.”

The ‘Test Drive for a Difference’ initiative runs on both sides of the Tasman and, over the past five years, MG New Zealand and MG Australia have collectively donated $250,000 to each country's respective Red Cross organisations.
