MG Motor NZ adds all-new HS medium SUV to fleet

MG Motor NZ has just launched the all-new HS mid-size SUV that marks a bold leap forward in design and innovation, according to the brand. 

The second-generation HS will be offered in three dynamic variants - Vibe, Excite, and Essence - and is priced from $36,990, including an industry-leading 10-year warranty.

The HS is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that delivers 125kW of power and 275Nm of torque. It is paired with dual-clutch transmission and has a combined fuel consumption of 6.9L/100km.

The MG HS has an all-new cabin and infotainment system.

The MG HS has a longer wheel-base than the first generation.

The Vibe model ($36,990) has automatic LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a cutting-edge 12.3-inch Dual Screen Entertainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity in the centre console. 

Next up is the Excite ($39,990) which has 19-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree camera for unparalleled visibility, and the convenience of remotely controlling your air conditioner or heater via MG iSmart. 

Top spec Essence ($42,990) has the addition of a panoramic sunroof, an immersive eight-speaker audio system, and wireless smartphone charging.
