Mercedes-Benz has released details of its second electric vehicle alongside the EQC off-roader but this time it's the EQV van.

Based on the Mercedes-Benz V-Class, it is powered by a 90kWh lithium ion battery pack, plus has a front-mounted electric motor producing 150KW and can reach a 160km/h top speed. It has a range of 340km.

Regenerative braking settings are adjustable and in the top setting the Mercedes can be driven with the accelerator only.

The EQV looks otherwise the same as a V class except for the revised “electric” grille and different wheels.

With seating for up to seven people, the EQV combines practicality with all the advantages of an electric vehicle.

The EQV features the brand’s MBUX infotainment system with EQ-specific features, including important information such as charging current and energy flow.
