Mercedes-Benz gets ready to reveal all-new S-Class

The next generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class is being spotted regularly with lesser camouflage on it as the brand gets ready to reveal the W223 model next year.

In spy photos, the sedan’s profile doesn’t look dramatically different to the current W222 (above) S-Class.  The headlights are slim with an LED daylight running strip at the top of the cluster. The rear tail lights extend into the boot lid.

The Mercedes luxury sedan will have a large Tesla-like display dominating the centre console unit, much like what was seen in the Mercedes-Benz EQS concept.

Mercedes is expected to retain the V12 engine, although it’s likely it will be combined with a mild hybrid system, to bring down emissions. It will also showcase the best of brand’s new technology and is predicted to have Level 3 autonomous driving.

A full Maybach version is also expected to be on the cards.
