Last Jaguar F-type limited edition model available in NZ

The final Jaguar F-Type sports car made at the brand’s manufacturing facility in Castle Bromwich, UK will join the brand’s Heritage collection, while a limited-edition model is available for a Kiwi buyer.

The final F-Type is a 5.0 litre V8 Convertible in Giola Green with a black roof and a Tan Windsor leather interior – similar to that of the 5.3 litre V12 final E-type Series III Convertible built in 1974 and registered as HDU 555N.

This special F-Type will be handed to the custodians of Jaguar’s history, the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT).

It will join an E-type, last produced in 1974, in the official Jaguar Heritage collection and take part in a series of special events and activities this year.

The final F-Type is a 5.0 litre V8 Convertible in Giola Green will go to the brand’s museum.

Just as the last E-type heralded the birth of the Jaguar XJ-S, the final F-Type will spearhead a four-door electric GT to be revealed in 2025.

The F-Type was first launched as a convertible in 2013 and was Jaguar’s first two-seat sports car in almost 40 years. It received universal acclaim and was named 2013 World Car Design of the Year. 

In total 87,731 F-Types have been produced and it will continue to be available until early 2025, which will include the F-Type ZP Edition coupé, of which 24 of the total 150 being built.
