Kia New Zealand has launched a long-range version of its popular EV6 that has a range of 528km and is eligible for the Clean Car rebate.

The EV6 Air Long Range showcases a stylish design that sets it apart from other electric vehicles.  Its aerodynamic shape, futuristic LED lighting and clean lines exude a sense of style and sophistication, making it one of the most attention-grabbing cars on the market.

“The launch of the EV6 was a game-changing moment for Kia,” said Managing Director of Kia New Zealand, Todd McDonald.

“It was the arrival of a dynamic and eye-catching new model bristling with technology and the capability to do what very few competitors could - transport people in safety, comfort and style more than 500km on a single charge.

“Thanks to its large 77.4kWh battery that delivers up to an impressive driving range of 528km WLTP, it offers driving freedom and removes concerns about range anxiety.”

The vehicle features ultra-fast charging capabilities, allowing rapid replenishment of the battery.  With its high-voltage charging system, it offers a shorter charging time compared to many other electric vehicles and is capable of a top-up charge of 100km in less than five minutes when using a DC 350kW charger.

Priced from $79,990, the EV6 Air Long Range is available now at Kia dealers and is eligible for a full Clean Car rebate of $7015.
