Jeep NZ launches new Compass compact SUV
The new Jeep Compass has arrived in New Zealand, redefining the competitive compact SUV segment with unparalleled off‐road capability, premium finishes, and a redesigned interior.
The Jeep Compass has evolved, with enhanced on‐board technology, redesigned dashboard, a refined cabin and an impressive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems as standard across the range.
“The latest generation Jeep Compass offers a supremely stylish and technologically advanced package that confidently stands out from the crowd, further enhancing the appeal to urban adventurers,” said Sarah Williams, Marketing Manager, Ateco Group NZ.
“The Night Eagle features a list of safety technology wrapped in black‐themed upgrades, while the S‐ Limited also offers unmatched refinement along with the uncompromised off‐road capability expected of Jeep vehicles.”
A complete redesign of the Jeep Compass interior gives the capable compact SUV a more modern, sophisticated style, consistent with the exterior design in terms of elegance, linearity and high‐tech language.
The updates see an all‐encompassing modernisation within the interior, involving the dashboard, central tunnel and door panels, resulting in a more comfortable and spacious cabin, featuring premium materials and a refined finish.
The new Jeep Compass has been restyled for a refreshed look, featuring an even more sophisticated, modern design, perfectly adapted to its urban character. The front bonnet is now broader, sporting a more athletic appearance achieved by using stylistic elements that develop horizontally, highlighting the vehicle's breadth and on‐road presence.
Additional protection and safety is provided by the new 360° camera, available as a cost option on the S‐ Limited.
Forward Collision Warning and LaneSense Departure Warning, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM) and front, side and curtain airbags remain standard, as seen in the new Compass’ predecessor.
The New Jeep Compass S‐Limited variant is available in New Zealand now, with the Night Eagle expected from July.
The front-wheel-drive Night Eagle has a 2.4-litre 129kW petrol engine plus a six-speed automatic transmission and is priced from $49,990.
The four-wheel-drive S‐Limited has the same engine but a nine-speed transmission and is priced from $59,990.
