The Hyundai 45 electric has been spotted at Nurburgring this week in a series of spy photos, with the vehicle closely resembling the Hyundai 45 concept, first seen at last year’s Frankfurt motor show.

The 45 is said to have the sleek pop out door handles, an EV trademark pioneered by Tesla. Other design details are limited at the moment, however the overall shape looks handsome with the defined rear hatch.

Expected to debut in January 2021, the Hyundai will be the brand’s second major EV car to the market after the successful Kona electric.

In New Zealand, the Kona was second place in EV sales in 2019 with 395 registrations while so far this year, 92 Konas have been sold.
