Bentley has been seen Nurburgring testing a plug-in hybrid version of the new generation Flying Spur.

The powertrain is believed to be same as in the Porsche Panamera Turbo S-E Hybrid, which is the 4-litre twin turbo V8 with an electric motor producing 500kW of power and 850Nm of torque.

The semi-electrified Bentley is allegedly only a few months away from launch, Covid-19 delays aside.

Rumoured top speed is 333km/h and it has a 0-100km in 3.8 seconds, which is almost identical to the 6-litre twin turbo W12 Flying Spur.
