Renault New Zealand has sprung into spring with the announcement that is launching the compact-sized SUV Duster into our market for the first time. 

With more than two million sold globally, and an accolade of awards, the Duster is an exciting addition to Renault’s SUV line-up in New Zealand. 

Duster joins Renault’s SUV siblings Captur and Koleos, and is being launched with a special price of $27,990 making it the most affordable in the range. 

“With the arrival of Duster, we have another model in our range that offers great value, and provides Kiwis with an affordable choice to join the Renault driving experience,” says Sam Waller, Renault New Zealand General Manager. 

“Kiwis love their SUVs as they are well suited to our lifestyle. With its versatility, reliability and affordability it’ll be well suited to families or adventure seekers.”

The Duster has a 1.6-litre petrol engine producing 84kW of power 156Nm of torque.

Duster boasts exterior styling with a distinctly assertive and robust look, and offers a high-quality interior for a comfortable and user‐friendly cabin experience.

Equipped with standard driving technology and safety features, the Duster has distinctive styling with chrome trim on the grille, alongside a raised waistline and C-shaped light signature.

The interior of the Renault Duster offers a modern, comfortable and passenger-friendly cabin. There are clever storage spaces make travelling convenient while the rear bench seat features a 1/3-2/3 split-fold function, while the boot boasts a 445 litres loading capacity. With the rear bench seat folded, the maximum carrying capacity extends to 1623 litres.

Duster comes with a host of technology including the multi-view camera incorporates four cameras (one at the front, one on either side and one at the rear). The system allows the driver to view the area around the vehicle and manoeuvre in complete peace of mind when using the vehicle in confined situations. The system is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged.

Duster also comes with Blind Spot Warning, speed limiter and cruise control and automatic headlight activating system. 

The multimedia system has a 7in touchscreen and various functional features such as satellite navigation, and smartphone connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
