It’s time to say “ciao” to Alfa Romeo’s Giulia that’s just gone one sale in New Zealand, priced from $89,990.

The updated Giulia represents an evolution of world-class performance, state-of-the-art technology and seductive Italian styling.

“We are excited to be able to continue offering the perfect blend of Italian craftsmanship and sportiness in New Zealand with the arrival of the all-new Alfa Romeo Giulia range,” says Sarah Williams, Alfa Romeo New Zealand’s Marketing Manager.

“Now we can deliver upgraded technology and safety features, whilst still offering the outstanding performance New Zealanders have come to expect from the Alfa Romeo brand.”

The Giulia has received over 100 accolades from motoring publications and industry bodies worldwide and has been widely praised by New Zealand media since arriving in April 2017.

The Giulia range is now equipped with a new 8.8-inch touchscreen replacing the previous rotary dial as well as an array of advanced driver assistance systems including active blind spot assist, lane keep assist and driver behaviour warning.

The all-new Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce Carbon ups the design and performance ante, powered by a higher-performance version of the turbo 2.0-litre petrol engine. Tuned for 206kW and 400Nm, the Giulia Veloce Carbon accelerates to 100km/h in 5.7 seconds. Standout and unique carbon fibre finishes gives an unmistakable racer aesthetic that pays homage to its racing heritage.

The range-topping Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and former Nurburgring lap record holder rounds out the range. The Giulia Quadrifoglio packs incredible performance and a class-leading power to weight ratio thanks to Alfa Romeo’s lightweight technology and its Ferrari-inspired 375kW twin-turbo V6 engine.

Starting from $139,990, the most powerful Giulia variant provides more than 8 per cent added value to the customer versus the version it replaces.
