BMW launches its most powerful M car
BMW has launched the M5 CS, in the vein of what BMW calls “its super high performance” vehicles.
It’s a special vehicle with many enhancements over the already desirable M5 Competition model.
With 467kW via its 4.4-litre TwinPower Turbo, 7kW more than the M5 Competition, it sprints to 100km/h in 3.0 seconds. This achieved via a 70kg weight reduction to the Competition, via the heavy use of carbon fibre in areas including the front apron, exterior mirror caps, additional rear spoiler on the boot lid and the rear diffuser.
Amongst the cosmetic upgrades the M5 CS gets include:
the outline of the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in the head restraints; with the front seats also getting illuminated M5 logos; the seats themselves being M Carbon seats;
M Alcantara steering wheel;
the BMW grille being surrounded in Gold Bronze;
L shaped light tubes in the BMW laser headlights;
Exclusive accents of gold across the body including on the kidney grille, 20 inch M forged wheels, M gills on the front wings and the boot lid;
And the list goes on.
The M5 CS can only be ordered, by request, and the price is, naturally, also by request.
