Bentley to reveal Bentaya Speed this week

Bentley will this week reveal the Bentayga Speed that retains the W12 engine and there’s great news for Kiwis when it comes to the fastest luxury SUV.

The Bentayga Speed’s W12 engine has a 467kW/901Nm output and is set for a 306km/h top speed, which narrowly pips the Lamborghini Urus at 305km/h to take the mantle of the world's fastest SUV.

The Speed will benefit from all the improvements of the latest Bentayga, which include an improved touch screen and instrument display, plus the refreshed front and rear ends.   

Expect to see aerodynamic improvements including a rear wing and front splitter. There will also be a dash of suede and carbon trim on the interior. 

But Bentayga fans in Europe and the UK will be sad to hear that only the V8 will be sold there due to EU regulations. 

Pricing and specification details have not yet been announced, but the Speed should go on sale in core US, Middle East and Asian Pacific markets later this year.
