Maserati has launched a limited-edition MC20, called the Notte, that was created to perform both on the road and the track - and the luxury Italian brand had help from its two famous names.

Maserati launched the MC20 two-seater, rear-mid-engine in May 2020, and now had added the Notte Edition, which harks to its ‘racing soul’.

With an exclusive run of 50 units globally, the design is sparked by the “mystical and intense power of darkness”.

“A roaring creature, conceived to seduce, and aesthetically enhance its already extraordinary V6 Nettuno engine-powered performance,” says the brand’s press release.

The two-seater V6 has an exclusive run of 50 units globally.

“Fuoriserie means ‘custom-built’ in Italian, and our Trident’s customisation program is conceived to create one-of-a-kind rolling sculptures for our clients. MC20 Notte celebrates the thrill of racing and the allure of the night combining supreme performance and Italian elegance with a touch of mystery of the nocturnal world. It is the first Fuoriserie limited edition of MC20 and it is dedicated to super sportscar collectors and track enthusiasts”, said Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design.

Drawing inspiration from the racing world, Maserati Fuoriserie team collaborated with Andrea Bertolini, Maserati reference driver and former GT1 world champion. To help with the launch, brand ambassador David Beckham is featured in a video. After admiring the sportscar, the football star gives the keys to the MC20 Notte Edition to Bertolini, who drives through the night across the city and on the racetrack.

The MC20 Notte exterior turns from a glossy black shade to a magnetic matte ‘nero essenza’ hue ready to glow in the dark.

The Maserati MC20 Notte has 20in matte black birdcage wheels.

It featureds the 20” matte black birdcage wheels feature accents in matte white golden while the brake calipers are black.

Inside, the MC20 Notte features 6-way power sport seats in Alcantara black/grey with yellow stitching. The Trident is on the headrests, and the Alcantara sport steering wheel has carbon fibre inserts.

An exclusive metal plate celebrating the MC20 Notte Edition along with a distinctive ‘UNA DI 50’ (one of 50) signature is applied between the two headrests.

And if you are keen to buy one, Maserati is inviting the new owners to an on-track driving experience.
