Jaguar has updated the performance  F-Pace SUV with the promise of more performance, improved dynamics and revised styling.

Jaguar’s 550PS 5.0-litre V8 Supercharged petrol engine  features a revised torque curve that raises peak output to 700Nm and powers the F-Pace SVR to a higher 286km/h top speed, with lower emissions and improved fuel efficiency. 

The updates are delivered by a combination of new hardware and the move to Jaguar’s  advanced Electronic Vehicle Architecture – dubbed EVA 2.0 – and include motorsport inspired design details, a luxurious and performance-focused interior and the latest  connected convenience technologies. 

New front bodywork influenced by the SVR’s significant motorsport  experience reduces lift by 35 per cent, lowers drag and amplifies F-PACE’s assertive  stance. 

It also gains Jaguar Land Rover’s stunning PIVI Pro dual-sim infotainment technology that is accessed through an all new 11.4-inch HD curved glass touchscreen and enables Software-Over-The-Air capability. The PIVI system was introduced in the Land Rover Defender.

The facelift Jaguar F-Pace SVR is priced from $169,900 plus on road costs.

“The MY21 model elevates the F-Pace SVR to another level making it faster, more  dynamic and agile. The new model simply refines this first-class vehicle to be something even better.” 

Further under-the-skin revisions include a new steering rack for “greater immediacy” and improved road feel, and a new electric brake booster for a shorter pedal and better feel. Revised adaptive damping and chassis bushes are said to provide more “duality of purpose”, with a more focused set-up in Dynamic mode and greater comfort in softer modes. It retains the ability to automatically adapt damper stiffness through constant measurements of body movement and control input.
